Justine Cooper is a artist who practices in sculpture, video, installations, photography, painting and new technology.
I researched about Cooper after I discovered she was affiliated with ANAT (Australian Network for Art and Technology).
In her video called Moist, I was drawn to the way she captures my attention. The video excerpt I watched is soothing and calming. Cooper used blood, phloem, pus, cervical mucus and tears to create this video.
I think it is interesting how she used technology and new media to collect photographs of the human body from within to exploit to the audience.
